Exploring Precinkts by Water

As they say, it's all about the journey, not the destination (although Precinkt begs to differ - we're all about destinations).

But when it comes to getting to a special destination you just can't beat travelling by water.  Perhaps its the novelty, the bustling deck hands, the lapping of the water, the thrusting engines, the sideways motion or an escape from the traffic - we're not sure - but getting there via the water adds a special something to a Precinkt trip.

Try these watery journeys next time you're on a Precinkt mission -

Sydney - probably the world's most loved harbour, Sydney has big lumbering ferries and little frisky ferries - all ready and waiting to take you to Manly, Balmain, Balmoral, Watsons Bay, Mosman Bay, Luna Park, Parramatta.

Melbourne - try one of the Yarra's Parisian style cruises

Brisbane - this city has embraced their City Cats to get visitors and workers up and down its winding river. Try a Cat to visit West End, Milton, Teneriffe, the CBD, Fortitude Valley, New Farm and South Brisbane.

Adelaide - take the Popeye boat on the Torrens River to Adelaide Zoo

Perth - Take a ferry from Barrack St terminal to Freemantle, Rottnest Island and South Perth

Newcastle - There's a 3min ferry ride between Stockton Wharf and Queens Wharf that's worth checking out. Or, better still, why not try kayaking to see Newcastle's working harbour in action!

Hobart - A very popular way to get to M.O.N.A (the world reknowned Museum of Old and New Art) is to take a ferry. It's a 45min trip but adds to the excitement of your MONA experience.

New York -

San Francisco -

Hong Kong -
