We can't recommend this gorgeous B&B highly enough. The room is beautifully decorated, the host is kind and generous, the location close to Darby St Precinkt and the beautiful beaches of Newcastle. We will return.
The friendly staff and great views are only the beginning... With a seasonally evolving menu based on locally available produce (organic where possible), owner Rebecca Death and her staff definitely put their money where their mouth is! An advocate of whole food and the Slow Food movement, Bec’s philosophy is to let the food decide what she is going to cook. ‘Meet the Grower’ evenings are an opportunity to meet local producers and sample dishes you never imagined – like beetroot sorbet and cold avocado shot.

A charming little space with some tasteful treats
A gorgeous selection of homewares. Interiorz sells designer fabric wall art, shades and cushions using Marimekko, Missoni and Florence Broadhurst fabrics. Perfect for the beach house!
With its Art Deco pavilion, Newcastle Ocean Baths is one of the city’s outstanding historic landmarks and is a popular open air studio for amateur photographers. Construction of the saltwater bathing complex commenced in 1911 and it continues to attract locals and tourists in large numbers.
Photographic Studios are often quite uninspiring when in fact what you need when searching for a Photographer is their space to speak for their work. So here's one example. Step into Something Blue and instantly understand their work and their approach.
Australian's are always disappointed in the world's beaches when their home has beaches like this one. A very long summery sultry beach holiday can be had right here in Newcastle.
The Signal Master’s Cottage is one of three accommodation buildings at the site of Nobbys Head Lighthouse. The cottages have been vacant since 2001, when the last of the Signal Tower live-in caretakers moved out.While the future long term activity of the site is being considered, public access via a series of Open Days will begin from September 2011. An agreement has been struck with the operator of Newcastle’s Famous Tram to include Nobbys on the Tram’s week-day tours of Newcastle.And if you can't attend these take an afternoon stroll out to the lighthouse.
This is the perfect place to do two things. Get fit or watch them get fit! Either way, it's an idyllic location. We did the latter with BYO wine and a dozen oysters.

You'll be blown away (but not literally) by the beautiful beach areas of Newcastle. Clean, wild, scenic and a great place to pursue the body beautiful.
